In a healthy forest there are trees that are adapted to their location. This means that they cope well with the local soil and climate. In many areas of Germany, these are mainly deciduous trees and firs, less frequently spruces and pines. The old trees should be able to rejuvenate naturally, i.e. produce seeds that germinate and become young trees. As a result, there are different stages of development in one area, the trees are not all the same age and form several layers. In a healthy forest, the associated vertebrates, insects, microorganisms and fungi can live well.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
