Do you already have a "stove certificate?"
The majority of emissions from heating with wood are caused by improper operation.
Despite frequent criticism, heating with wood is indeed very sustainable and is currently one of the best options. If you would like to know more about this, please take a look at our detailed article here.
In order to eliminate the human factor as a weak point of wood firing, owners of wood-burning stoves must be better trained in the future.
This is exactly where the young company “Ofenakademie.de” comes in. It has created an e-learning platform on which wood-burning stove owners can acquire the so-called “stove certificate” in an online seminar lasting just under 90 minutes.
On this educational platform, experienced experts from the industry explain in short videos how to operate a wood-burning stove correctly. At the end there is a short test. Those who pass the test receive a personalized “stove certificate”.
Owners of wood-burning stoves who obtain the “stove certificate” make a major contribution to environmental protection and are also empowered to operate their stove more efficiently and thus heat more economically.
A really good thing, isn’t it?
We think so too, which is why we are an official partner of Ofenakademie.de.
