Is our manufacturing process the right one for your application?

In our production process, the manufacturing materials are formed by means of extrusion. The bricks are then either finished by hand or repressed in hydraulic presses.
We manufacture and maintain all our tools, such as mouthpieces, blade frames or press moulds. Depending on the product and quantities required, we select the most reasonable solution in terms of manufacturing process, price and quality. This allows us to also produce smallscales batches.
In many cases, we are already involved in the planning phase of a new project and can contribute our experience to optimise the end result.

Our fireclay qualities
We work with an array of fireclay qualities:
standard fireclay is suitable for areas that come into contact with flames.
Heavy fireclay, which provides a greater heat storage capacity, is used in areas that come into contact with smoke gas.
Our shaped chamotte bricks offer the greatest possible mechanical stability, longest durability and optimum heat utilisation.
HBO+ is our light red standard quality and gets its characteristic colour from our domestic raw material, which we extract ourselves locally.

- Density: 1.9 kg/dm3
WKS is a light yellow fireclay whose technical properties are comparable to our standard fireclay. It additionally corresponds to Austrian standard B 8306.
- Application temperature: 1,200 °C
- Density: 1.9 kg/dm3
HBW is a light yellow standard quality. Thanks to its elegant colour, it is particularly suitable for visible surfaces.
- Application temperature: 1,200 °C
- Density: 1.9 kg/dm3
HSM massiv is a red-brown heavy fireclay. Its technical properties make it an exceptional heat storage material.
- Application temperature: 1,000 °C
- Density: 2.4 kg/dm3
HST is a black-brown heavy fireclay, which surpasses our HSM quality again in terms of storage capacity and thermal conductivity.
- Application temperature: 600 °C
- Density: 2.8 kg/dm3
