Our refractory concrete contains refractory cement, which makes it particularly resistant to high temperatures.
| Application: | • Suitable as a sealing compound and ramming mixture, for large-scale repairs of furnace floors (earth-moist consistency), for stove construction materials and for arranging tiles • Suitable for modelling, e.g. of a pizza dome (by adding 10-15% of chamotte mortar C the stability and adhesion of the mass is increased for better application) • Sets on a hydraulic basis, hardens at ambient temperature |
| Properties: | • Food-safe • Ready mixed • Grey / Black colour • Application temperature 1,100 °C • Grain size 0 – 3 mm • Bulk density 1.2kg / litre • Once mixed one sack results in 11 litres of ramming mix or 12 litres of casting compound |
| Application: | • Prior to use (also of partial quantities): Mix the dry mass (whole sack) well • Mix with tap water in clean vessels • Apply at temperatures of between + 5 °C and + 30 °C • Can be removed from the mould after 12 – 18 hours and transported after 30 – 36 hours • For use as mortar only apply to wet bricks, create a contact layer • Use within 30 minutes once mixed |
