A baking stove for the Swentana scouts

The Swentana scouts from Schönwalde added a clay baking stove to their premises.

First and foremost for the members themselves; as a further opportunity for hands-on learning and eating close to nature. But also for all other residents and visitors to the town of Schönwalde, who can also use it as a village baking stove.

We were happy to support this and to provide our REMUS Duo for this purpose.

As part of the project, the scouts were not only able to learn how a wood-burning baking stove works, but also many handicraft techniques by building the baking stove themselves.

With the help of technically skilled parents and friends, the children and young people first built a foundation, a wooden shelter with a green roof on top, then built the baking stove inside with an outer shell made of clay they had obtained themselves.

The result is impressive and will certainly offer some delicious baked goods. Have fun with the baking stove and bon appétit!
